You use Solutions every day. You may use a generic term such as 'Application', refer to it by functionality 'the Recruiting app' or by its' screen set (Benefit Ennrollment Data Entry). One way or the other, you are using a Solution created by a Vendor 'layered' on top of more powerful, but inaccessible programs. These are 'Vertical Applications'.
We've taken a different approach. Younicycle gives you access to the lower, more powerful features that are usually inaccessible - or - difficult to program - or - extremely expensive. Let's talk about 'Seats', aka Users, licenses.
The term "Seats' is brilliant. It places an image in a person's mind, which implies additional 'production' costs.
Software 'seats' aren't chairs. There is no wood, no painstaking hand-sanding. No stain or varnish. Just a unique # that is added into the Vendor's Accounts Receivable DB.

We chose PostgreSQL, the World's Most Advanced Open Source Database with the most flexible license (BSD). There are no 'seats' with PostgreSQL. There is room for everyone to sit. And work.
Younicycle is built on top of PostgreSQL. You DO pay for the base install - but - there is no charge for additional seats. None, as in $0.
Younicycle is affordable for All, not just the Fortunate 500.
