Layout Creator - DIY on line Demo
If you choose DIY, one of your Staff will need to learn new skills and, as with any new skills set, there will be a 'learning curve'. One of the required Tools is featured below. This Tool is a Layout Creator used to layout a Template for creation of a PDF to Print. A similar Tool exists for Websites or Applications.
Getting the feel of this WYSIWYG Tool usually takes about 2 full days.
Don't worry about 'breaking it' as it is only an on line Demo and it leaves no files on your Local system (PC, Mac or Linux). When you close it, it will evaporate from your system as it is only in your browser & does not use Local Shared Objects. No Cookies, either.
If, after 2 or 3 hours, you (or a designated Team member) find this on line Demo too difficult, then DIY is not likely to be your best choice. Bear in mind - there is MUCH MORE required for a DIY Benefit Statement Project. This is just one of the necessary Tools ....

This Demo is part of a much larger system that allows companies or groups of people to work together in an online, Collaborative Workspace. The Demo however, is 'stand alone' & you will not be in a shared Workspace. You will be 'solo'.
The Demo is a partially enabled 'layout tool', much like a whiteboard. You will be able to draw, add and format text, add images, merge data fields + more. The Demo includes several 'pre-built' templates, to include a simple employee benefit statement (pebs_1), a bezier drawing of an elephant, a simple sales report and a sample marketing letter. Sample data has also been included so that you can add or merge data fields and preview the results. Don't worry about 'breaking it' as Save has been disabled. The purpose of the 'real tool' is to create personalized Pdfs in a collaborative environment. As we said, a much larger system exists with Tables, Queries, charts, conferencing + much more.
Anyone, anywhere is welcome to test and/or play. This demo has been tested by download.com, McAfee.com and many users at wikipedia.org and is free of malware.Have fun - and spread the word!
