Idea #2: There's still good meat on those Bones.
When Employee benefit statements are completed, what do you have? For starters:Name, address, birth date, hire date, gender, department, wage rate, status, scheduled hours, retirement data, all benefit enrollment info, all time off data, education data.
And that's just scratching the surface. So maybe start Targeting (and Personalizing) your Employee Communications. Your Benefit Customers will have one less, onerous task (Benefit Communications), their Employees will be able to make truly informed decisions and you will be able to ....
expand your business and bind yourself more closely to your Customer. You will have the Competitive Edge.
Any Targeted Benefit
It all Started with Employee Benefit Statements
Employee Benefit Statements are NOT a dead-end Project. They should be only the start of something VERY good.To accomplish what is described to the left, we'd need your Carrier's Rate Tables and a blank form.
- We'd build the Rate Tables into your exisiting system and JOIN to employees based on Wage, Age & Gender (if relevant). We'd do all the # crunching and calculations. - We'd scan the 'blank form', then 'lay' the data and calculation fields on top of the scanned Form.- You get approval from the Carrier. A little arm twisting/groveling & they'd probably pay us for our time.- We set it up for Print, web, intranet - or all of the above. Data gets collected directly into the App.- Verify all with your customer & export relevant data to Payroll.
Life is Good.
Dear Joe,
I thought I'd share with you some personalized information about the new Voluntary, Supplemental Disability Policy that is now available at HoobsDooba.
bla, bla, bla your monthly wage is $$$$ and your benefit could $$$ per month. You are xx years old. Did you know that the chances of a Male (age xx) becoming disabled for > 1 month between now and age 65 are xx%?
bla bla bla - here's your own wage replacement chart and current gap.
Your premium would be $.xx per pay. The partially completed enrollment form is on the right. If you need more info, let me know.
Thanks,I. M. Agent
